Operating & monitoring the Brain

The agency-side tools for keeping every client's Brain healthy and well-fed.

All help topics

As an agency you get operator tools that clients don't - a cross-client Brain Health view and per-client Brain controls - so you can keep every account's knowledge sharp.

Brain Health (across all clients)

From the agency portal's More menu, Brain Health gives you a portfolio-wide read:

  • Active nodes, pinned nodes, open questions and retrievals per client.
  • Answer rate and dismiss rate.
  • Which clients have gone stale.

It flags problems worth acting on, such as: an empty or thin Brain, no pinned anchors, a high question-dismiss rate (a sign the prompting needs tuning), missing embeddings, or no reflection in a while.

Per-client Brain page

Open any client's Brain page for a deeper look - nodes by kind and by source, confidence calibration, and dismissal patterns. It's read-only insight into how that client's knowledge graph is shaping up.

Brain operations

From a client's Advanced settings you can run:

  • Backfill - seed the Brain from existing platform data and documents.
  • Manual reflection - force a reflection run rather than waiting for the schedule.

When to step in

  • A client's Brain is empty or stale - run a backfill or check their integrations.
  • High dismiss rate - the Brain is asking unhelpful questions; review and tune.
  • Missing embeddings - nodes won't surface in search; a reflection/backfill usually resolves it.

See Adding & managing clients for where these controls live.
