Exporting or deleting your data

How to get a copy of everything held on your account, or have it deleted - what you get, what is held back, and how long it takes.

Your data is yours. You can ask for a copy of everything the platform holds on your account, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time and without giving a reason.

Neither is a button you press yourself. Both are handled for you, and both are quick.

Just want one table? If you only need the numbers off a single Performance tab, you don't need any of this - there's an Export CSV button on the table itself. See Exporting a table to CSV. This page is about getting everything, or getting rid of it.

Getting a copy

Open the account menu and choose Get help, then say you'd like a copy of your data. You can follow the request afterwards under My tickets.

Ask your account team. They can produce it directly from your account - there's nothing they need to request from anyone else.

What you get

A single JSON file containing everything held for your account: your reports, Brain knowledge, documents, notes, tasks, connected-platform data, activity history and user records. It's machine-readable, so you can load it somewhere else rather than only read it.

What isn't in it, and why

Three things are deliberately held back. The file lists them itself, so you can see what was withheld rather than take our word for it.

  • Your connected-platform credentials. These are encrypted access tokens for your own Google, Meta and CRM accounts. Putting them in a file that gets emailed would be a risk to you, and you already control the originals - you can revoke or reissue them at source at any time.
  • Password hashes. A hash is still a credential and it's no use to you. Everything else about your users - names, email addresses, roles - is included.
  • Cost telemetry. The record of what running your account costs to serve. That's information about the commercial relationship rather than data belonging to you.

Deleting your account

Same route: Get help in the account menu. Say clearly that you want your account deleted, not just closed.

Ask your account team. If you're leaving the agency entirely, tell them whether you want the data deleted or handed over first - they aren't the same request.

Ask for a copy first if there's any chance you'll want it. Deletion is real and permanent - it isn't a flag or an archive - and once it's done there's nothing to export.

What deletion removes

Connected credentials, cached performance data, reports, the Brain, documents, notes, history and user access. All of it, in one go.

We keep backup copies of the database for up to thirty days, so a deleted account is gone from the live system straight away and out of every backup within a month.

What survives, and what isn't ours to remove

  • Feature-board suggestions stay, with your name and email address removed from them. The board keeps the idea, not you.

The rest of your account data goes. Contracts and invoices are kept separately, for as long as UAE tax and company law requires.

There is one more, and it's the one people don't expect: deleting your account does not revoke the permissions you granted to your connected platforms. Our copy of the access token is destroyed, so nothing here can read your accounts any more. But the authorisation itself still sits in your Google, Meta or CRM account until you remove it there. You'll be reminded at the time - do it, and the door is shut at both ends.

How long it takes

We commit to one month. In practice both an export and a deletion take minutes, so you'll normally hear back the same day.

If you've asked and heard nothing, chase it - a request that went quiet is a request that got lost, and it's worth saying so.

What isn't possible yet

  • A defined retention period beyond the standard one. Your data is kept while your account is open and for 90 days after it closes. If you need something different, say so and you'll get a straight answer about whether it can be committed to.
  • A request about one named person - "what do you hold about this individual" - isn't self-service. The export covers a whole account. Raise it the same way and you'll be told what's involved.
  • Security & privacy - how your data is isolated and credentials are protected
  • Data processing - the full detail of who receives your data and what is enforced, written for legal review
