Previewing as a client & view controls

See exactly what a client sees, and control which tabs appear on their dashboard.

Before anything reaches a client, you can see their dashboard exactly as they will - and tailor what's on it. These controls live on the client-facing insight dashboard when you open it as a team member.

Preview as client

Open a client's insight dashboard and switch to preview as client. This shadows your team view so you see precisely what the client sees - hidden tabs gone, team-only panels removed, only published reports showing. It's the safest way to sanity-check before you share a link or publish.

Controlling visible tabs

Each client's dashboard can show a tailored set of tabs. From the team control bar you can toggle tab visibility with inline eye controls (the front end of the visibility settings), so you only expose what's relevant to that client. The Overview and Connections areas always stay available; everything else is yours to show or hide.

The team control bar

When your team opens a client's dashboard, a slim control bar gives you the preview toggle and the visibility controls in one place. It's guarded off for self-serve-style accounts (where the client runs their own setup), so it only appears where you're managing on the client's behalf.

Why it matters

  • No surprises - preview catches anything half-finished before the client sees it.
  • Focused dashboards - hide tabs a client doesn't use so their view stays clean.
