Facebook Page insights reporting

Joined up to everything else.

Page insights measure your organic Facebook presence: reach, engagement and follower movement. The trap is that paid promotion inflates these numbers without labelling itself, so organic performance looks better than it is.

The connection

What we read from Facebook Pages.

Read-only, via one-click oauth. Nothing is created, edited or published back into your account.

  • Post-level performance

Read it alone and it misleads you

Paid reach quietly inflates your organic numbers

Page-level reach includes people reached through paid promotion of that content. A post that was boosted shows a reach figure that has nothing to do with the strength of the post. Compare month to month without separating paid from organic and you will conclude your content improved when what actually changed was your ad budget.

This is not a fault in Facebook Pages and it is not something a connector fixes. It is why a number from one platform should never be read on its own, and why the platforms never agree with each other.

Once it is joined up

Questions you can finally answer.

  • Whether organic social is genuinely growing, with paid reach separated out
  • Which organic posts earn engagement worth repeating
  • How organic presence tracks against paid spend over the same period
  • Whether Page growth is being bought or earned, month over month

Every one of those needs your CRM connected as well, because Facebook Pages cannot see what closed. That usually means HubSpot, Salesforce or GoHighLevel.

Common questions

Facebook Pages reporting, answered

Does this replace Meta Business Suite?

No. Business Suite stays where you publish and moderate. We read the resulting performance so it sits beside your ad spend, your site traffic and your CRM instead of in a separate tab nobody opens.

Why does reach look higher than my own count?

Page reach includes paid reach on promoted posts. If you boosted anything in the period, part of that figure was bought rather than earned.

Do you post to the page?

Not from the integration. Publishing lives in the Social Calendar; this connection is read-only reporting.
