GoHighLevel reporting

Joined up to everything else.

GoHighLevel holds contacts, pipelines and often the booking and payment record too. For agencies running clients on GHL it is usually the only place the full customer journey exists in one system.

CRM Connects via API key

The connection

What we read from GoHighLevel.

Read-only, via api key. Nothing is created, edited or published back into your account.

Access requested: A read-only API key for the location, which you generate and can revoke.

  • New contacts
  • Opportunities created
  • Opportunities won
  • Pipeline value
  • Revenue by channel
  • Top opportunities
  • UTM coverage

Read it alone and it misleads you

Sub-accounts and per-location pipelines fragment the picture

GoHighLevel is structured around sub-accounts, and pipeline names are defined per location. Two locations for the same brand can have differently named stages meaning the same thing, and a contact can sit in more than one pipeline at once, which double-counts if you total naively. Reporting across a roster means reconciling those pipeline definitions rather than summing them.

This is not a fault in GoHighLevel and it is not something a connector fixes. It is why a number from one platform should never be read on its own, and why the platforms never agree with each other.

Once it is joined up

Questions you can finally answer.

  • Which channels fill the pipeline that actually converts, per sub-account
  • Cost per booked appointment and per won opportunity by source
  • Where pipeline stalls, compared consistently across locations
  • Whether the same lead is sitting in two pipelines and inflating your reported pipeline value

Common questions

GoHighLevel reporting, answered

Does it work across multiple sub-accounts?

Each client account connects its own GoHighLevel location, so an agency running many clients gets a consistent view per client rather than one merged pool where differing pipeline names collide.

Can a contact be counted twice?

It can in raw GHL data, because a contact can sit in more than one pipeline. Deduplication happens before anything is totalled, which is a real difference from exporting and summing yourself.

Do you write back to GoHighLevel?

No. Read-only, like the other CRM connections.
